READ FOR PURCHASE INSTRUCTIONS:
Through tape loops and samples that suddenly open onto the heavy electronics B.P. is known for, The Pleasure of Entanglement is an audio diary detailing the exploration of a BDSM-based relationship. The bliss of a new relationship, its gift and its subspace, gives way to something more intense in its discomfort as the relationship becomes untenable. The soundscape presents feelings of loss, dependence, and consumption--all words with negative connotations but that we all use in some form when positively describing a new relationship ("I can't live without him", "She consumes me"). The Pleasure of Entanglement, as a diary should, reflects on memory: the good and bad of which every relationship is composed, the indelible marks on both flesh and mind.
All relationships begin with trust. To purchase this tape you must call 310-910-1782 and leave a message 58 seconds in length in which you offer your trust in the form of a relationship-based personal story, confession, or fantasy that you wouldn't offer to just anyone. Put yourself on the line, risk something.
If your message attracts attention, you will be contacted with instructions on how to purchase the tape. The tape will include a second tape with the previous purchaser's message. Your message will be included with the next purchaser's tape, and so on.
If you really want to put yourself out there and experience the thrill of trust and surrender, leave some form of contact information in your message.
Only one copy per person.
